Preston North End and Blackburn Rovers are monitoring Brentford forward Kaye Furo as both clubs consider strengthening their attacks with a loan signing.
Regular Championship football could become the next stage of the teenager’s development.
Ontheminute.com understands that the Lancashire rivals are keeping tabs on Furo’s availability ahead of the transfer deadline. Brentford have yet to decide whether to retain him as first-team cover or approve a temporary exit.
The Belgium Under-21 international joined the Bees from Club Brugge in January on a five-and-a-half-year contract. He previously scored eight goals in 18 appearances for Club NXT during the 2024/25 campaign.
Furo is a powerful 6ft 3in striker with pace, intelligent movement and an imposing physical profile. He also scored in Brentford’s recent behind-closed-doors victory over Rennes.
Preston and Blackburn could offer more consistent senior minutes. Any agreement, however, will depend on which club presents the strongest playing-time and development plan.
