He told the Sun: “Some people look at it and make a judgement on David today, but the fact is he has been in United States for less than 120 days.
“We did not bring in David for half a year — we brought him in for a five-year vision.
“So the chapter on David will be written five years from now, not after the first 120 days.
“I love everyone calling it a disaster because David continues to reinvent himself.
“The more pressure people pile on him, the greater the reinvention seems to be every time.
“The best is yet to come from David, we know that.”
