But Lucescu admits that he is unsure whether a move for the 28-year-old will take place.
Lucescu recently held talks with Brescia president Gino Corioni.
“We are speaking about [Diamanti] a little, but also other players and the future in general. I like Diamanti a lot,” he told Radio Sportiva.
“I have been following him for a year. Will I buy him? I don’t know, we will see how things go.”
