Wales were unhappy that they were unwilling to compromise on when they were arranging to play games in the group.
A member of the Welsh FA board said: ‘The Italians were arrogant in their attitude. They were adamant they wanted to play Switzerland first and Wales last on a Tuesday night. They sat there saying “No compromise, no compromise”
