The 27-year-old suffered a knee injury while on international duty with the Republic of Ireland on Saturday.
Head of medical development Steve Kemp told the club’s official website: “The scan has confirmed that Kevin has torn his MCL (medial collateral ligament).
“We will be working with Kevin to get him back as quickly as the injury allows but the likely time span is anywhere between four and eight weeks.”
