Norwegian side Brann has indicated that they are willing to sell Demba-Nyren, who Esbjerg are keen on signing.
Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet reported today that the two sides had agreed on a move.
“It is not true. We have not negotiated with Esbjerg, and he will not be presented later today.”, Ulrik Le Fevra told bold.dk.
“Brann will have a new coach and if they get a new coach that does not want him, then we will probably start looking for a new club. Until then, we will stay absolutely calm.”
Demba-Nyren has only scored five goals on the 24 games he played for Brann this season.
