On Monday’s England press conference Terry said he was “not everybody’s cup of tea”, but yesterday Crouch and Milner asserted there was no problem with the decision.
Milner commented: “JT has shown week in, week out what a good leader he is.”
Crouch added the squad has no issue with Terry as captain, saying: “It’s the manager’s call and there are no problems from anyone. I’m pleased for John and we move on.”
He added:
“We’ve not really talked about it, no. It’s between the manager and the captain, whoever he wants to pick.”
“There’s a lot of talk of unrest but it’s not an issue…The manager wanted to stick with JT and that’s fine with all of us.”
