The 36-year-old signed a one-year deal with the French giants when he joined the club last summer and has admitted he may retire at the end of the season.
“Will I go on playing next term at PSG? I have not thought about it yet,” Makelele told Le 10 Sport.
“The most important (thing) is to finish the season well. Then I will make my decision.
“Anyway, a possible Champions League qualification won’t necessarily influence my choice.”
