Il Corriere dello Sports reports that AC Milan have shown an interest in signing the 28-year-old in the summer transfer window.
Marchetti has been frozen out at Cagliari and is expected to leave the club at the end of the season.
Marchetti’s current contract at Cagliari is set to expire in the summer of 2012.
