England’s complaint ‘primitive’

The honorary president of the Russian World Cup bid, Vyacheslav Koloskov, has described England's complaint as primitive as the feud between the rival bids took a new twist.

English officials complained to Fifa after Russian bid chief Alexey Sorokin criticised London a few days ago. Sorokin has apologised, but Koloskov said on Wednesday that the complaint was a result of ‘nervousness.’

Fifa are set to vote on 2nd December to decide on who wins the race to host the 2018 World Cup.
