The 29-year-old has impressed for Catania this season but admits he would consider leaving the club if a bigger club came knocking.
“I must say that it is already an honour to play for Catania,” Mascara told Radio Kiss Kiss.
“They are my hometown club and I always try to give my best on the pitch every week.
“However, if I received an offer from one of Serie A’s top clubs then I would assess the situation carefully.”
