Dacourt suffered the injury during the 1-1 league draw against Zulte Waregem on Saturday.
The former Inter midfielder is expected to be out of action for at least six weeks, but will undergo an MRI scan later on Monday to clarify the seriousness.
The 35-year-old joined Standard on a free transfer about a month ago.
