Scudamore admits he is happy that the Premier League title race remains open.
He said on ESPN’s Between The Lines programme: “The big clubs know I don’t mean anything ill of them by this – but of course there is rejoicing in our office when the Burnleys pick off the league champions, when the Wigans beat the Chelseas.
“No one could pick the champions with any certainty. All of us could have a guess, but no one could be absolutely certain.”
