Hansson and his assistants has come under heavy criticism for failing to spot French skipper Thierry Henry’s handball that set up William Gallas who scored in extra-time the goal that sent France to teh 2010 World Cup finals.
“FIFA has banned us from making public statements,” fourth official Martin Ingvarsson said in a text message to the Swedish online site FotbollsExpressen.se.
“We are not allowed to make any statements in connection with FIFA matches,” Ingvarsson added.
