Crespo has 12 months left on his current contract with Parma.
“I don’t exactly know what my future may offer,” declared the hitman. “What is certain is that I wish to stay close to the world of football.
“I am very open to the idea of a future as a coach, but I wouldn’t mind working as part of a group of backroom staff.
“I completed the UEFA B course while I was still at Inter and I am qualified to coach in Serie D or in the youth leagues.
“Nevertheless, these are still early days and now my focus is on the field ahead of next season with Parma.”
