Roussel is available on a free transfer and Paatelainen os hoping to boost his attacking options before the transfer window closes.
“Since the start of pre-season, adding a striker has been a priority,” said Paatelainen.
“We don’t have a lot of money so we’ve got to make sure it’s right.”
