The Rossoneri are keen to bring in a new striker due to injuries to Alexandre Pato and Filippo Inzaghi.
“It will be an intense January, and we will be needing Pato to return,” Galliani told Milan Channel.
“We began the season with five world-class strikers and at the moment we have two out injured.
“Pippo [Filippo Inzaghi] is hoping to make his comeback towards the end of the season, and I hope he does with all my heart.
“The only role that we are looking to fill is the one left open by Pippo. Playing at Milan, though, is difficult and that is why we are seeking a champion player.
“At this time, I don’t see too many available, but we shall see. Either a striker arrives, or the team stays as is.”
