Vaz Te joins Hibs on a short-term deal until the end of the season. The 24-year-old was released from his deal with Greek side Panionios earlier this season.
Hibs boss Colin Calderwood said: “Everything’s completed now so we’re delighted to announce he’s confirmed as a Hibernian player.”
He added: “He’s missed a bit of football so there’s a bit of fitness he’s got to regain, but we’ll stick him in the squad for Tuesday night.
“The reason to bring him in is to try and see what he can do – we’ll try and push that as soon as possible.
“It’s an opportunity for him and ourselves to assess one another and see if we can have a fruitful end to the season.
“He’s got good pace, good technical ability and has shown good shooting prowess in training.”
