Benjamin’s current contract with Hamburg is set to expire at the end of the season and the club are not ready to hand the defender a new deal.
The defender’s agent, Hans-Josef Franken, told Hamburg Morgenpost: “This is stunning and is not like it should be. It’s a pity I am have not been given any signal.
“We cannot wait any longer. We will start to look around now.”
