Pirlo announced on Wednesday that he will leave the club when his contract expires at the end of the season.
“Everyone knows what Andrea has given to this club and we will all miss him, but this is life and we must accept these things,” Inzaghi said.
“I wish him the best and appreciate Andrea as a player and a man. He will never feel like an opponent.”
