The 22-year-old started his first game for Rangers in the 2-1 victory over Dunfermline Athletic last weekend after four years at the club.
Bendiksen’s current contract with Rangers is set to expire in the January transfer window.
“We have received an offer from Rangers, but it has not gone any further than that at the moment,” said Bendiksen’s agent Jim Solbakken.
“I am planning to come to Glasgow next week to try to sort something out.
“Thomas would prefer to stay at Rangers. Thomas has been at Rangers for four-and-a-half years now, though, and has worked really hard towards the goal of playing for the club.
“However, he played at the weekend and we’ll discuss whether the manager is happy with his performances before trying to get a deal agreed before the New Year.”
