Naismith has been a hit for Rangers since joining the club in 2007. The midfielder still has another four years left on his contract with the club.
“In football, you can never say what is going to happen but I’m loving my football at Rangers,” Naismith told the club’s official website.
“I grew up supporting them and playing in front of 50,000 fans every second week and competing for trophies is what every player wants to do.
“I’ve been fortunate enough to do that. I’ve also had a good bit of experience in the Champions League. I’ve got everything I want at Rangers and there’s a very good possibility that I could (stay for the rest of his career).”
