The 28-year-old impressed during a week’s trial at Dundee united.
Cierzniak is a free agent after leaving Cypriot side Alki Larnaca two weeks ago.
The goalkeeper has signed a contract that will keep him at the Scottish side until the summer of 2014.
The goalkeeper will join Dundee United in the summer.
The player’s agent, Paul Quinn, said: “Shamrock Rovers have been in touch about taking Radoslaw over there short-term.
“A move there would have the added benefit of improving his English before he came back here. However, it may be easier to find him a club in Poland to keep him ticking over.”
