Huntelaar believes Capello’s exit could hinder England’s chances at Euro 2012 this summer.
“Personally, I was surprised by the exit of Fabio Capello before the Euros,” said the 28-year-old.
“This is not good news for England because another coach will arrive with a new system and they will need to adapt.
“The next Euros will be very open. For me, England is among the list of candidates, without doubt, though this change on the bench could affect things.”
