Seedorf announced that he would be leaving to sign for Botafogo this weekend.
“I spoke to Seedorf three weeks ago”, said Carlos on Brazilian radio.
“I asked him if he wanted to come to Anzhi, even though we have a corporate policy that forbids us from signing players who are over 30.
“I talked to him about it, but Clarence told me he had already decided to go to Botafogo.
“I hope he does well in Brazil.”
