Reports have suggested Ancelotti could be axed and replaced with a coach with a ‘stronger’ personality.
Gattuso told Milan channel: “They say he is too friendly with the players and every now and then a story emerges that he’ll be fired, but it won’t take long before they build him a statue like Nereo Rocco.
“The truth is he knows how to do his job very well and, when it is necessary, he can get pretty angry.”
