The Rossoneri are on the look out for a new coach after Leonardo left the club at the end of this season.
When asked about Allegri, Galliani insists it is not a done deal.
He told Gazzetta dello Sport: “It’s premature.
“I cannot add anything more as coaches arrive at the beginning of July. We are nevertheless negotiating.”
“At this time Allegri is the Cagliari coach, hence, we shall see,” added Galliani.
“Our relationship with (Cagliari president Massimo) Cellino is great and will remain great regardless of how the negotiations go.
“Does (AC Milan owner Silvio) Berlusconi like him (Allegri)? He should answer that question but I believe he does.”
