The new contract will keep Allegri at the club until June 30, 2011.
“After the match with Milan, I met with the President and he renewed his faith in me,” said Allegri.
“I signed carte blanche, as I do not know the figures nor the length of the contract. The President thinks in advance, he gets to things far quicker than other people.
“He always showed his confidence in me and if he had fired me after five consecutive defeats, that would have been considered normal.”
