Reports claim AC Milan are keen on signing a new keeper this summer as Dida, Christian Abbiati and Marco Storari could all leave.
AC Milan have been linked with a move for Alves in recent weeks.
The 24-year-old told La Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper: “I am honoured to know that one of the strongest clubs in the world is thinking of me.
“I think that Milan are like a second home to any Brazilian.
“I have played alongside Ronaldinho at the Olympic Games. He is out of this world. I am ready to take him on in training. And I’m ready for Milan.”
