The club had been strongly linked with moves for the veteran pair.
“In relation to the many raised voices in the media relating to Sneijder and Maicon and other players alleged to be on the verge of moving to Anzhi, the club informs the fans that these rumours are completely unfounded”, they said in a statement on their official site.
“The club will not pursue negotiations for these players.”
