Lindenberger said: “England will be an easy opponent. They are a great team but currently lack form and confidence.
“The stadium will be packed and I am very confident we can beat them.
“England are under enormous pressure. They will play the vital European Championship qualifier against Croatia a few days later and maybe not every player will give his best.
“They are expected to control the game and attack. This gives our side every chance on scoring on the counter.
“Last time we played England we drew 2-2 but while England were on a high, we were rebuilding. Our team should be much more compact this time.
“Friday will be a first dress rehearsal for Euro 2008. Winning it would be the icing on the cake.”
