The club were docked the point for hurling anti-Arab abuse. The club, its fans and Israeli authorities have gone to extreme lengths to stamp out the abuse which stems from a minority, frequently docking points from the team over the years.
The majority of the club’s fans even turned on the minority at a game against Hapoel Tel Aviv earlier this year when they started chanting the abuse.
But due to such efforts, the court ruled they should have their point reinstated.
