England face Japan in Austria on Sunday as Capello is undecided on just three places of his 23-man squad for the World Cup in South Africa.
“20 are sure to stay with me for South Africa,” Capello told Sky Sports News.
When asked what positions that are still up for grabs, he replied: “One defender, one midfielder, one forward.
“Bent is fit, he will play tomorrow from the start. James will start in goal and Lennon also.”
England could have a five-man midfielder for the friendly with Japan.
