Allardyce told Wanderers TV: “I don’t know how much money is going to be available for next year’s transfer budget.
“But there may be the need for me, as a manager, to recommend to the chairman that we make a sale, to take a big bid for a big player and use that money in conjunction with what the club has found to buy even more, bigger, better and younger players than we’ve already got.”
