The deal will keep Huseklepp at Stabaek until the end of the 2010 season. Stabaek are still in negotiations with Brann over a transfer fee. Huseklepp’s contract with Brann expires at the end of this season.
Husklepp have also been linked with Viking and Lillestrom in recent weeks.
Stabaek sports director Lars Bohinen told TV2 Sporten: “We are very happy he chose to join us.
“He is a Bosman-player, and can join us for free at the end of this season. But we want him to join us as soon as possible. We are in talks with Brann, but the negotiations are difficult. Brann have told us they want to keep him until the end of the season, if they do not get the money they want for him.”
