Allegri was named as new boss at AC Milan earlier this week.
“We need to begin again with enthusiasm and fresh motivation,” Allegri told Gazzetta dello Sport.
“I doubt there are players at Milan who just do the bare minimum to get along.
“Ronaldinho is a fantastic player and the club will not sell him. Together we will find new motivation that is not represented by his World Cup dream.
“He can play anywhere with that quality, out wide or behind the strikers. As for Pato, I expect him to mature well this year.”
