Capello is less than a year into his 4 1/2-year contract with the FA.
A source told News of the World: “Fabio is a very single-minded and strong-willed individual.
“And he already has this plan to lead England to glory in South Africa and then retire.
“For him that’s the perfect ending. Finishing the job as a world champion. What’s left for him to achieve after that?”
