Cluj were playing in Switzerland, and Cartu shattered the glass in the dugout in anger as his side went down to a disappointing defeat.
The club said in a statement that “The values and image of the club CFR Cluj cannot be associated with the actions of Sorin Cartu. For such reason we have decided to interrupt our relationship.”
