When a Zamalek goal was disallowed, crowds ran onto the pitch attempting to attack the Tunisian players.
Prime Minister Essam Sharaf apologised for the trouble and said: “Last night’s events do not in any way reflect the position of the Egyptian people towards their Tunisian brothers.”
