Eusebio believes England deserve a chance to host the tournament for a second time despite Portugal also being in the running.
He told The Mirror: “To have the World Cup back in England would be very good for football.
“Your country has a massive history in the game, a lot of tradition and a lot of passion.
“The Premier League is the hardest league in the world right now, it has a lot of big players.
“You have also got good infrastructure, good conditions and if the World Cup was to be organised as well as it was back in 1966, then it will be a great tournament.”
