Germany thrashed Kazakhstan 4-1 to remain far away at the top of their qualifying group. Austria and the Republic of Ireland drew 2-2 to move level with Sweden in the race for second.
The Netherlands crushed Romania 4-0 at home, whilst Hungary and Turkey drew 1-1 in the same group, meaning the Hungarians are in pole position for second.
