He said: “On the future, president (Massimo) Cellino and I will make a decision that is good for both of us. I’m with Cagliari for better or worse, I know how very difficult it is to begin again from zero with another club.
“If there are the right conditions, I’ll stay here in order to continue the job I began this season. I have spoken with the president, and he has made the same judgments as me.
“We will see what develops, I am not tied to another club and have a contract with Cagliari.”
