Van Marwijk’s previous deal was set to expire during Euro 2012.
“I have often said I am very happy with the Dutch FA (KNVB),” Van Marwijk told the federation’s official website.
“If I have a good feeling [about staying], I think it is okay to remain here for a long time.”
“The KNVB wants security but I also have the space to decide on my future, but only if there is an opportunity that comes at the right time in my life,” he added.
