Johansson is currently training at McDiarmid Park and is without a club since leaving Hibs in the summer.
The 34-year-old said: “When I arrived at Rangers, Derek McInnes looked after me and he’s still doing it now.
“I want to play against Wales and Germany next month and Derek has given me a chance to keep fit.
“I see Scotland as my home now and it would take something special to make me leave.”
