“The comparisons are made so that we know where we are in terms of improving and moving forwards,” Ranieri told Sky Sport Italia.
“We want to improve our position from last year. We finished third then and we hope to do better this term both at home and in Europe.
“Like the game at the Bernabeu for example. We hope to continue along this road in terms of doing our best and winning all our games.
“I have been through plenty during my coaching career and I know how to handle these big situations. This season it was a little turbulent but we all got together and turned it around.
“The seven wins? Every game gives you something apart from the three points and this will spur us on from now on.
“I was pleased with the win in Spain more and I hope the winning continues, we are Juventus and we win.”
