The 21-year-old has been training with Hibs for the past two weeks and the striker could be included in the squad for the clash with Hamilton this weekend, pending international clearance.
Trakys told Hibs official website: “I’m really pleased to sign for Hibernian – a big club with a great history and ambitious plans for the future.
“Throughout my career, I have always tried to make an impact in the team immediately and I want that to continue with Hibernian.
“I know quite a few players, who have links with Hearts and they have all said what a wonderful city Edinburgh is and that my style will suit the Scottish game. I just want to get on the pitch as soon as possible.”
