Gattuso is unhappy with a lack of playing time a the San Siro and has hinted that he could leave the club.
AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has revealed that the club has offered Gattuso a contract for life.
“As Galliani has already revealed, we are set to hold talks before the Christmas break,” the World Cup winner told Gazzetta dello Sport.
“I’ve heard the remarks regarding the fact that Milan is not a hotel, but I want to think they were a joke.
“I never forget my home, and Milan is that for me.”
