The win leaves them bottom still but only two points adrift of safety, and they have more experience battling relegation than their rivals having escaped miraculously in recent seasons.
“The players deserve to [enjoy the warm weather]. There’s been too many times this season that we’ve played well but it’s been difficult to get the reward in the scoreline,” said Martinez.
“The most important thing is to play consistently, in the manner we have in the last two games. If we continue to do that we will achieve our aim.”
