“It’s been a worry and we’re getting close towards the window now, and it’s something we’ve got to try and rectify now,” Megson told reporters.
“The numbers in the squad have got to come up, but at the same time it’s got to be quality numbers as well. We don’t want to just bring players in for the sake of it.
“We won’t get through the second half of the season with the squad at the size it is at the moment.
“We know names of players we would like to bring in, but it’s not always that simple. It’s harder bringing players in during January than it actually is in July.”
