Mourinho happy with point

The Italian giants were goal down before Dejan Stankovic equalised with a header. Inter ace Mario Balotelli was shown the red card.

“Considering the circumstances, it’s a point earned and a positive result,” Mou told Sky Sport Italia.

Inter are without a win in their last seven European games since their win over Anorthosis Famagusta in October 2008.

He continued: “Obviously we want to qualify as soon as possible. We drew a game that, in the circumstances, we could easily have lost. At the end of the day that seems positive to me.

“Our opponents got a better start and were fired up, motivated, everything it means to play your first game at home.

“They scored, then I saw Inter play for the rest of the first half. We created, scored and could have had more, going into the break with a positive mentality ready to push for the second.

“We all know what happened next.”
